Bulk QR Code Generator: QR Codes From a List or Excel

Make many QR codes at once, free and in your browser. Paste web addresses or text, open a CSV or Excel file, or number them as a serial sequence, give them all one logo, colors and frame, then download SVG, PNG or PDF files or a label sheet. Nothing is uploaded.

Valid

Data

3 lines

One value per line, or rows copied from a spreadsheet: the columns are detected (tab, comma, semicolon or vertical bar).

File names

Use {row}, {data} and {type}. Characters that files cannot hold become _; repeated names get -2, -3.

First files

Barcode

Any text or URL.

QR error correction

The share of each QR code that can be damaged and still be read. Higher levels make larger codes.

Logo

PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 2 MB

The logo stays in your browser. Use only a logo you have the right to use. The same logo goes on every QR code; error correction is set to H, the highest level.

Colors

Contrast 21.0:1; estimated symbol contrast 100%. Below 20% is refused.

Label text

Printed in each file with the barcode, outside the quiet zone, in Helvetica.

Quiet zone (modules)Each type's minimum

Each row uses the minimum quiet zone of its type. Type a value to use your own for every row.

Rotation and background0° · Filled

Rotation

In the preview, a checkered pattern shows the transparent areas. Print a transparent barcode only on a white or very light surface: scanners need the light quiet zone around it. JPEG files keep the background color.

Margin and border0 mm · no border

The margin is blank space outside the quiet zone, for cutting; the border is drawn at the outer edge in the bar color. Both count in the print size.

Link tracking (UTM)Off

Adds utm_ parameters to the web addresses in QR codes so analytics can tell where a scan came from. Rows that are not http:// or https:// addresses stay as they are. A longer link makes a denser code.

Presets0 saved

No presets yet. Save the current settings to reuse them.

Presets stay in this browser. They keep the type, size, style and output; the data, the column choices and the logo are not saved.

    Recent batches0

The batches you make appear here, newest first.

The last 10 batches, kept in this browser only. The files themselves are not kept.

      Before you print

A PDF test sheet with the first barcode at 80%, 100% and 150% and rulers. Print it at actual size and scan each copy.

Up to 10,000 rows on a computer, 5,000 on a phone or tablet.

Everything runs in your browser; nothing you paste or open is uploaded.

How to Make QR Codes in Bulk

Put one value per row, check the list and download every QR code in one ZIP.

      1. Paste the web addresses or text, one per line, or open a CSV or Excel file.
      2. For serial numbers, open Sequence and set the prefix, the start and how many.
      3. If you like, add a logo, shapes and colors under QR design, and UTM tags under Link tracking.
      4. Choose the module width and the output: a ZIP of files, one sheet or a label sheet.
      5. Select Make the barcodes and save the file when it downloads.

What You Can Put in Bulk QR Codes

Each row becomes one QR code holding that row's text exactly, whether it is a web address, a code or a sentence.

      Links and Text

      • Web addresses: write them in full with https://, so phones open them as links.
      • Product or asset codes: such as SKU-00001, for scanning in your own system.
      • Any text: a QR code holds up to several thousand characters, but short values give smaller, easier codes.

      Wi-Fi, Contacts and Other Forms

Bulk QR codes hold each row as plain text. A Wi-Fi login or contact card needs its own format, which the single QR code generator builds from a form; make those one at a time there.

One logo, one set of shapes and colors and one call-to-action frame go on every QR code of the run.

      • Logo: a PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG image up to 2 MB, 10% to 30% of the code's width; error correction is set to H, the highest level.
      • Shapes: square, rounded or dot modules, and the eye frames and centers in their own shapes.
      • Colors: dark modules on a light background with at least 4:1 contrast, a gradient, and eyes in another color.
      • Frame: a bar or a box with text such as Scan to order, part of each file.

A styled QR code is read back by the decoder as it is drawn: the run cannot start until the first code reads, and any code that does not read is listed in the CSV. Keep the logo small and the colors strong if a code is listed.

      UTM Tags on Every Link

Link tracking adds the same utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values to every web address in the run, so your analytics can tell which print a visit came from.

Rows that are not http:// or https:// addresses stay as they are. The table shows each final link before you make the codes, and a longer link gives a denser code, so check the first QR code in the preview.

      Serial Number QR Codes

The Sequence tab numbers QR codes for you: a prefix, a counter with leading zeros, and an optional suffix, such as SN-000001 to SN-000500.

Each QR code then holds its own serial number, and its file is named after it, so the files sort in order. Set the start to continue a series you made before, and the step to skip numbers, such as 10, 20, 30.

      QR Codes From Excel

Open an .xlsx file and choose the column to encode; another column can name each file.

The first worksheet is read in your browser. When the first row holds column names, tick the box so it is not made into a QR code. A column of web addresses and a column of product names give one QR code per address, each saved under its product name.

      Printing Many QR Codes

A QR code grows with its data, so a long web address gives a larger code than a short one at the same module width.

Check the first QR code in the preview, then make the run. Error correction is M unless you choose L, Q or H, and H is used with a logo. Before printing hundreds, download the test sheet, print it at actual size and scan each copy, or place the codes on a label sheet PDF.

      Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Bulk QR Code Generator Free?

Yes, with no account and no watermark, up to 10,000 QR codes per run on a computer. The codes are drawn in your browser.

      Do Bulk QR Codes Expire?

No. Each QR code holds its text or web address directly, with no redirect through Barcode.codes, so it works as long as the address does.

Can I Track Scans of These QR Codes?

Not on Barcode.codes, because the codes do not pass through a server of ours. Add UTM tags under Link tracking, and the analytics of your own website can count the visits that come from each batch.

Can I Put Text Below Each QR Code?

Yes. Label text goes above or below each code, the same on all of them or from a column of your file, such as a table number. A call-to-action frame adds a bar with your text under every code.

Can I Make QR Codes From a Google Sheet?

Yes. Download the sheet as CSV or Excel and open the file here, or copy the column and paste it into the box.

How Are the QR Code Files Named?

After each row's value, or after a column you choose, with characters that file systems refuse replaced by underscores. A repeated name gets -2, -3 and so on.

Why Is One QR Code Bigger Than Another?

A QR code needs more modules for more data, so a long address makes a bigger code at the same module width. Shorter addresses give smaller, easier codes.
